It's official. Facebook launched it’s “the new camera”
Facebook is revamping its in-app camera to embrace the next era of AR visual communication which is pioneered by Snapchat.

It's an update to the iOS and Android app that adds three new features: 1. an effects-filled camera, 2. a spot for disappearing stories 3. a way to share media straight from the camera. Here are the recent updates of Facebook:

Facebook Story
Facebook has launched Facebook Stories. It lets you "share multiple photos and videos as part of a visual collection atop news feed". When you add a photo or video to your story, it appears in the new Stories section at the top of news feed. Your profile picture will appear in this row at the top of your friends' news feeds, and they can tap it to see your story for 24 hours.

Camera effects
The other update is its camera just for Facebook Stories. It offers masks, frames, and interactive filters that can be applied to photos and videos. It is swapping text and photo updates with visual communication because it feels more personal.

Direct Sharing
If you want to share photos and videos with specific friends via a story, Facebook offers a "Direct" option that’s designed for sharing "individual photos and videos with specific friends for a limited time". When you use Direct, your friends will view your photo or video once and replay it or write a reply I love the new editions on Facebook. You know Facebook is my favorite social media at the moment. They made visual sharing on Facebook fast, fun, and flexible. I’m sure Facebook’s user will embrace the story format.
